Returns & Refund/Exchange Policy

Our policy for returns and refunds is 7 days from the receive date. If 7 days have gone by since your receive date, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. The items must be returned to us first before we can proceed with exchange or refund

Requirements for a valid return:

  • Return/Refund request has been made within 7 days after the date of the item received
  • Provide a photo of the original packaging received from the courier.
  • Item purchased are defective or not as described
  • Proof of purchase (order number, tax invoice, etc);
  • Return item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it;
  • Return item must be in original packaging;
  • The reason for return has to be valid and return acceptance conditions met

Exclusions:

Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after the date of the item received

Exchange (if applicable)

  • For defective or wrong items received, we will replace them with the exact same item ordered after successfully receive the item(s) returned to us. If the item is out of stock customer to have the options as per below:
  • Exchange with same value item,
  •  Exchange with lower value item (no refund for price difference),
  •  Exchange with higher value items (customers have to pay for the difference in prices).
  • Refund the amount of the value item

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If it is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@1stopfishing.com.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular price items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@1stopfishing.com

Warranty & Faulty Items

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide return shipping of the faulty item back to 1stopfishing.com.
  • All reels that are priced RM100.00 and above comes with a limited 1-year warranty
  • 1stopfishing provides a warranty for customers outside Malaysia given that customers cover the shipping cost including any international tax for the receiving countries if any.
  • The items returned to us for warranty will undergo an investigation process for claims eligibility and 1stopfishing will notify the customer if the item is eligible for the claim
  • 1stopfishing will notify the customer whether the item is eligible for a claim before any action is done.
  • For any item that is not eligible for a warranty claim, 1stopfishing will provide an option of returning the item (shipping cost to be paid by the customer) or the customer will be quoted with a repair cost. Customers will need to respond with their decision within 30 working days. In the event 1stopfishing did not any receive response from the customer, the item will be disposed of.

WARRANTY ONLY COVERS DAMAGE TO THE ROD OR REEL RESULTING FROM A NONCONFORMITY IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. DAMAGE CAUSED BY MISUSE, ABUSE, OR TAMPERING WITH THE ROD BY OTHER THAN NORMAL USE OF THE ROD OR REEL; OR ANY NON-CONFORMITY OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM REPAIRS PERFORMED OTHER THAN BY OUR OR AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDER IS NOT COVERED.

*Claims without a receipt will not be accepted.

*One Year Warranty will be considered VOID if 1STOPFISHING.COM determines that (a) the rod or reel has been subject to repairs not authorized by 1stopfishing (b) the rod or reel has been modified, neglected, improperly maintained, misused, abused, or accidentally damaged. (c) the appearance of the rod or reel indicates damage by your failure to provide proper maintenance.

How do I return an item?

If for any reason you would like to return your product to us, please follow the simple steps below:

  1. Pack all items with your invoice in a secure carton or reuse the original packaging. Please ensure that all boxed items are enclosed in a satchel for protection or their return may be refused.
  2. Affix the pre-addressed label to your package, making sure you cover or remove the original shipping label.
  3. Attend your local Post Office and send it to the labeled address. For security and peace of mind, we strongly suggest insured registered post as 1stopfishing.com is not liable for lost return parcels.

I have lost my Invoice with the returns section. What do I do?

Do you pay for my return shipping?

If the returned item was damaged, or we shipped you the incorrect item we will gladly pay for the return shipping cost upon assessment.

In the case of reimbursement of shipping, a receipt is required to be sent with the return.

If the returned item was what you ordered but turned out to be not exactly what you were hoping for (i.e. you weren’t happy with your choice of size, color, style) then we ask that you pay for the cost of returning that item to us. We think that’s only fair. We do however recommend you consider gifting the item to a friend as a way of avoiding a return freight charge

How soon will I receive my refund?

The refund process begins after we have completed evaluating your returned product. This quality evaluation process may take up to 3 business days. We will send you an email and WHATSAPP once completed.

To process your refund more quickly, 1STOPFISHING will proceed with Bank Transfer (you need to provide the banking information). You will expect to receive the refund in 5 business days.

I have been refunded the wrong amount?

We are very sorry if the amount refunded was incorrect and are more than happy to fix this for you. Please contact our info@1stopfishing.com and we will sort it out straight away. Please ensure you have your order number or name at the ready so we can find the relevant information to help you as quickly as possible.
